Metropolis UpdatesThe Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago recently released its first-ever Annual Impact Report summarizing key actions and
developments taken in 2020.
The purpose of the report is to provide data and information related to the financial performance, ministry building, and community outreach of the Metropolis on an annual basis. The report differs from a traditional annual report in that it also includes the findings of a 10-year audit of the Metropolis’s sacramental registry data, which was commissioned to allow the Metropolis to better understand prevailing trends in the sacramental life of the faithful across all 58 parishes.

Responding to Coronavirus:
September 15, 2021 - Based on the current situation, wearing masks that completely cover the nose and mouth is required of everyone on the St Andrew Church campus, regardless of vaccination status. Anyone not vaccinated against COVID-19 is also required to practice social distancing.
We are not checking vaccination status, however, anyone coming on site certifies by doing so that (a) they do not currently have COVID-19; (b) they are not experiencing COVID symptoms; (c) they have no reason to quarantine; and (d) they will practice social distancing if they are not vaccinated against COVID-19.
While pre-registration is no longer necessary, for purposes of contact tracing, we will ask all parishioners and visitors to sign-in upon arrival.
As usual, we will continue to monitor all of the communications coming from the city, state, CDC, and Metropolis, adjusting our procedures and practices as necessary as we remain committed to being church and community for one another, whether in person or online.
